Now we're taking a look at how consumers are spending their cash here first peloton seeing a slight sales increase for the first time in nine quarters.

But the reason why isn't necessarily because people are buying the fitness companies brand new top tier bikes and treadmills, but instead get this.

They are buying pre owned ones and paying for subscriptions at such a pace that the refurbished inventory is no longer sufficient to continue offering this as an option.

So it's been sunset as of August 1st, the company is also anticipating a continued sales headwind as a result of an uncertain macroeconomic backdrop.

However, the results were better than expected and better than feared.

And so shares of PTON are up also up right now.

Walmart elsewhere.

Walmart You've got them joining forces with Burger King starting today, WalMart Plus members can get 25% off at any Burger King digital order here.

Now that's not all.

Members can also get a free whopper every three months with any purchase.

But as the old adage goes, there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

And so, too, there's no such thing as a free burger, a WalMart plus membership costs nearly $100 per year, or about 13 bucks per month, and wholesale shoppers are increasingly going digital.

The latest quarterly results from B J's Wholesale Club revealed 22% year over year sales growth on its digital channels, while the company marked the 10th consecutive quarter of traffic growth.

We should note the combination of major investments back into the business, plus a period where members dollars are stretched.

That leads the CFO to believe that the earnings per share will pressure margins and only reach the low end of the expected range that's been provided to investors here.

Shares there are moving lower by about seven and a quarter percent.
