Amazon CEO and J writing a memo today, instructing corporate staffers to spend five days a week in the office.

And Josh, this is a significant reversal of their prior in office requirements, which was at least three days a week of the company giving employees until January 2nd to start a hearing to this new policy.

Now, part of this memo, Jack, he said, quote before the pandemic, it was not a given that folks could work remotely to days a week and that will also be true moving forward.

Our expectation is that people will be in the office outside of extenuating circumstances.

The company is also going to be adjusting its corporate structure.

So having less managers not as top heavy, which I feel like it is something we typically see for a lot of these big tech names.

But just interesting to see this, this reversal, you would imagine, you would imagine there would be some number of Amazon employees too who would say no thanks.

Like I, I'm not coming back.

I really like this hybrid thing and I guess I, I obviously prepared for that and would say, well, you know, that's go with God, that's our company, our culture and it's a hard charging culture over there.

I mean, that's the truth totally.

And we did see a, a big surge of hiring throughout the pandemic.

So you wonder what this could mean when you think about it, if employees do not want to adhere to that policy, if they quit, if there's a lot of turnover, uh just, just something that I think a lot of big companies are really weighing right now for sure.
