LuLu market cap is $27B on $4B revenue, 600MM NI. Sure it's a growth bet but compare it to $VFC (Vans, Jansport, North Face), 21B market cap on $14B rev, 1.5 NI. Much better buy. It's a hype stock, eventually bubble will burst and people will get tired of their brand, just like Under Armor.

Long term investors who didn't buy VFC @49 and below are fools. Or more politely, not long term investors. This is an A rated financial co., 44 straight years of increasing dividends, 5 yr.CAGR and DGR of 18.6%, only a 48% payout ratio, only 28% debt/cap. Below it's long term P/E, and well below the market average. I am now paid every 90 days at ~1.5x the 10yr.-T, increasing yearly. Even better if compounded into more shares. I sold a $45 put for for even more income.

If you are a woman and wear lee's jeans you will hate the ones they have this year.f checked out the lee's at walmart recently and they are not for 99% of the women. They are the skinny mid rise (or low rise) jeans which feel like they are falling off and feel like you are wearing compression socks or something. I emailed the company because they won't be selling many of those. Maybe a couple teens will buy them, but the women who have money to spend won't be buying them. They will just wait till they come out with the ones that actually fit. I always wear the same size Lee's and I positively can't wear those.

Does VF have exposure to the cross dressing market. That seems to be trending these days.

I have to agree with Po San below. VFC is and has been on a downward trend for the past 2 years. They are not even participating in the Trump rally since the election. Even though they are sound financially they are in some segments that have no growth such as jeans. North Face is their only greats brand but they do not seem to be innovating in the athletic wear segment. I don't see a reason to own this stock except for its decent dividend but meanwhile my investment is losing value as the stock drifts downward. I would rate it a sell for long term investors.

Slowly the market awakens this morning to the facts.

Denim strongly back on trend, one of the longest/coldest/wettest Springs globally on record so excellent leverage for an under-leveraged Q1/Q2 Outdoor business, Trump about to put a boatload of money in infrastructure.....yet the collective of all these great outdoor, denim and workwear brands are DOWN y.o.y. AND you give a muted outlook?

This stock has not had it up in well over 2 years. The last several quarters have been weak to put it mildly. Dividend and profit growth are not sustainable without TOP LINE GROWTH.

The market slowly starts thinking it simply is not good enough to say your results are in-line with your (low) expectations of yourself. My 50 cents.

Over the past 2 years VFC has dropped from the mid 70s to the low 50s. Things do not appear to have bottomed yet as the drop continued even during the Trump rally. I'd say holding this for the dividend is no longer a good idea. When to get out? Not sure since there doesn't appear to be a good reason for the continued and ongoing drop in the retail equity price.

Overvalued. I'm gonna wait for that what I think it that next warning coming, let it ride down, and pick back up around 40 and once I understand what the TNF situation is. Denim gonna do little, VANS/TBL gonna be slow as well I think, TNF is the maker/breaker for this one...I think the whole performance space is overvalued, all these guys need to do a mean reversal first...and show us P/E's in the mid/high teens, before anything is re-investable.

That's the 2nd decrease in revenue projection. Look across their brands for innovation and newness and exciting product and you don't find any. And that, folks, will haunt this stock for a great while to come. 30+% down from 77.09 high and counting.
