Planet Communications Asia Public Company Limited engages in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and servicing of telecommunication equipment in Thailand and Republic of the Union of Myanmar. It operates through three segments: Sale of Products and Solution, Services, and Service Providers. The company offers telecommunications networks products and solutions, such as satellite, wireless, fiber, network, security systems, Wi-Fi, and router/switch for mobile phone service providers, internet service providers, military organizations, government agencies, and television broadcasting stations; smart office solutions consist of telepresence, UC/IP PBX, IP CCTV, and data security; digital broadcasting solutions, including integrated systems of technologies for digital TV broadcasting comprising digital television transmitter and TV signal broadcasting systemd; cyber security solutions; PlanetCloud, a smart cloud office system; and PlanetFiber that provides high speed internet. It also offers data center; critical communication solutions; and professional services comprising pre-sales, implementation and installation, and after sales services; and rental services, including teleconferencing and digital TV broadcasting devices. The company was formerly known as Technology Gateway Asia Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Planet Communications Asia Public Company Limited in 1998. Planet Communications Asia Public Company Limited was incorporated in 1994 and is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.
