$Amzn at best should be selling at $25 to$30 a share. Its growth rate is dead. It trades at 50 PE. It is not going to grow at the rate of PE. Moreover, there is Huge competition. $WMT is eating Amazon:s lunch...

Oversold, I would buy. They have substantial manufacturing facilities, working products, and upcoming agreements. The fair value is $6 - $8 per share at least. If they would have a real deal with $WMT or $AMZN then you can calculate the profit from such an intelligent investment :-)

Holy shix. I kept expecting a bounce, but each time a bounce attempted, it gets sold off. Target $TGT and Walmart $WMT showed the double whammy we're facing from this inflation mess. If people keep buying shix, earnings is OK, but Feds keep raising rates more aggressively from inflation, causing an even more epic recession and stock sell off. If people stop buying shix, it lowers inflation, but causes the stock market to crash. Either way this doesn't look good now with S&P 3,800 and Nasdaq 11,000 about to break. After support breaks, the sell off will accelerate. $AAPL and $AMZN will keep going down from capital preservation, dragging the indices lower and lower.

Even China's reopening is not going to help because they've shown to the world that even just a few cases of COVID will cause them to lock down again. 1999 all over again. -50% minimum, probably -75% indices drop by next year. -90% if there's some sort of black swan like solar flares destroying electronics, or some other new virus, or even COVID coming back with a new variant that's even more infectious than Omicron and its subvariants and more deadlier too.

Sequential improvement evidenced. From the company's first quarter to its second quarter, superb advancement was tallied. Although sales fell 6% from $64 million to $60 million and the company's SG&A expenses ratcheted up 230 basis points from 23% to 25.30%, BRID was still able to triple its earnings from 3 cents to 9 cents (an impressive 200% gain). The reason? The company's gross profit margin blossomed 230 basis points from 25.50% to 27.80%. The irony present? Both the company's SGA changes and gross profit margin changes were by the exact same # (220 basis points).

Summary of the company's second quarter: (1) sales rose 19.80% from $50,477,000 to $59,986,000 (2) earnings climbed 29 cents from a loss of 20 cents to a gain of 9 cents (3) Gross profit margin jumped 680 basis points from 21% to 27.80% (4) SG&A expenses fell 30 basis points from 25.60% to 25.30% (5) as a percentage of total sales, $WMT fell 21% from 38.70% to 30.50% while Dollar General's percentage of overall company revenues climbed 39% from 14.20% to 19.60% (6) cash position climbed by $9 million (7) operating income swung positive from a loss of $2,311,000 to $WMT fell 21% from 38.70% to 30.50% while Dollar General's percentage of overall company revenues climbed 39% from 14.20% to 19.60% (6) cash position climbed by $9 million (7) operating income generated a positive $3.80 million improvement from a loss of $2,311,000 to a gain of $1,504,000

It's official: On June 1, 2022, Bridgford Food Processing Corporation, a California corporation and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company (“BFPC”), and CRG Acquisition, LLC (“CRG”), completed the real estate transaction (the “Sale Transaction”) set forth in the Purchase and Sale Agreement dated March 16, 2020 (as amended to date, the “CRG Purchase Agreement”). Pursuant to the terms of the CRG Purchase Agreement, CRG acquired a parcel of land from BFPC including an approximate 156,000 square foot four-story industrial food processing building located at 170 N. Green Street in Chicago, Illinois. The purchase price for the Sale Transaction was $60,000, less $2,100 previously received by BFPC as non-refundable earnest money, and subject to certain closing adjustments as set forth in the CRG Purchase Agreement. In connection with the closing of the Sale Transaction, BFPC paid an aggregate of $1,200 in broker commissions.

When people are low on disposable income to shop at $AMZN they turn to $WMT and $TGT and take loans $SOFI $UPST

Wealthy people buy $AAPL with no problem. Those with less have less disposable income to buy from $AMZN. Maybe they’ll hit $WMT. But they all have jobs so they can borrow money from $UPST $BAC

When people are low on disposable income to pay for Prime membership and shop at $AMZN they turn to the closest $WMT and $COST and take loans out $SOFI $UPST until things settle. Low unemployment means they all still have jobs so that they can take out loans based on thejr stable income.

Amazon opening department stores? Shows the power and need for omnichannel. I have more confidence that CVS will continue to grow in digital health care than Amazon will succeed in bricks and mortar. I am long $cvs and $wmt as I believe both will take share from Amazon in their core segments. CVS has 26% share of prescriptions and growing!! (I was long Amazon until end 2020…..now out except for index funds)
